An accepted definition of sustainability is, “to meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.”
The term “green” is often used as a synonym for “earth-friendly.” To be green is to recognize that nature is a foundation for human life and that the processes of nature set limits and possibilities for human life.
